Asides from the lake district there are not to knowledge that many natural lakes in England, Shropshire has a few meres and that’s it really, even the Norfolk Broads are man made.

We do have Earslwood lakes in the midlands, but that was originally a reservoir for the canal system, but whichever way you look at it, if you jump in, you’ll get wet

Now about the claim that “It’s too bad our medical system focuses so little on prevention.” That is hilarious, considering that vaccines are preventative!

So tell me, how much does it cost to give a child two MMR vaccines (the MMR has been around since 1971 and never contained thimerosal), versus treating a person with measles or mumps, or caring for a child permanently disabled by congenital rubella syndrome? Or even, how much does it cost to give a child a series of four DTaP vaccines, versus trying to deal with pertussis (which kills over a dozen American babies each year), tetanus or diphtheria (which killed a child in the UK recently)?

For the people on here who claim their unvaccinated children are healthy, I believe you. It’s too bad our medical system focuses so little on prevention. Pretty soon we’ll have even more vaccines and drugs to cure all of our ills. But in the end, how healthy will we actually be because of it?

I don’t know about Alzheimers, but one thing that does seem to come to us all eventually is Arthritis.
