Been meaning to pass by and thank you for writting this post. At last the school have said they will support me in asking for an assessment but I’m hoping they keep their word. Maybe they have had enough of him or its because they know they gonna look sill in court. What ever it is I don’t care as long as the do what they have said and give me the support I have asked for since day one.

One has to ask (using the Galileo Gambit in reverse)

Why when faced with the evidence, the Catholic Church so obstinately denied it. (and continues to this day to support the insupportable in terms of the child abuse scandals and interference with equal rights legislation for gays)

Unfortunately it IS psychological, it is an unfortunate bad meme in human society (cognitive dissonance that is, not the Catholic Church, which would manage fine without the corruption of the Vatican heirarchy)

It will take more than chelation to purge the mind viruses from society.

The only solution will have to be the full sanction of the law for as Martin Luther King, (not to be confused with his earlier namesake) once said.

Via a lnk in a comment by “Peter” on this more recent post dealing with Thoughtful House, I found my way to this page on Brian Deer’s site that deals with Krigsman’s Texas medical licence hearing in 2005.

To summarise, there was some debate about giving Krigsman a Texas licence, due in substantial part to the Lenox Hill events, and Krigsman was only granted a Texas licence on a 5-3 majority vote.

One would imagine that if there was to be seen to be a recurrence at TH, or worse still a continuing pattern, of ’scoping kids without proper approval and/or not on the basis of clinical need, that the ***t would really hit the fan.

Gary did not damage any computer systems.Anyway,they left
the back door open,like they did on 9/11.
Gary’s case highlights a central injustice;let him face
trial in the UK.America does not even need to present a prima facie case.It’s absurd.Letting him hang out for eight years is tantamount to mental torture.
You sound gloatingly insensitive. How can one guy take the flack for a completely inept security protocol?
Or is the concept of justice and fairness alien to you?

Anthony’s Dad,

we do the best we can and when we know better we do better. You did well to see through the hype and back away. I know some smashing parents who only want the best for their kids. They raise money. They raise awareness. They campaign for services. They are alive to the needs of autistic adults and rather than resenting neurodiversity they are sympathetic to people with Aspergers.

And still they believe in Wakefield. I think it is because he offers an answer to the question “Why?” it is a very plausible answer that is easy to buy into. And once you have an answer it is so empowering that it is very hard to exchange it for the uncertainty that comes from a more realistic appraisal of the current state of our knowledge.
