I hate the United States Of America Defeat Autism Campaign Charity founded by American Doctor's which are the Modern day Frankenstein creater's, Dr Crippin, Harold Shipman, Human Schientist's FULLSTOP. I do not ever want to see them coming here accross the lake and doing evil stuff to European, African, Asian, Australasian Autsitic or Aspergick Special Human Being's Like Mwa/Me Adult's Lady's & Gentleman Kiddy's Boy's and Girl's.

Plus I am an member of the [LARM] London Autistics Rights Movemen, {DANDA}

(Autismlondon) I do like any what so ever cure's at all I:E: including: GENE, DNA, STEM CELL treatment's no way no place no space.

Have you all heard the "Countdown to midnight" CD by Elyse Bruce? She's raising money for autism. "The Mad Hatter" song off the CD is actually about autism. It talks about the problems people encounter when trying to get services they need, whether they are for autistics or for themselves.

That's a rather tenuous link between Autism and the subject matter of your blog, but hey, I hope you enjoyed the fells.

As as I know there is only one lake in Wales as well, the rest are llyns, and in Scotland they are all lochs. Cumbria is but an alternative spelling of Cambria, the country of the Cymry.

Asides from the lake district there are not to knowledge that many natural lakes in England, Shropshire has a few meres and that's it really, even the Norfolk Broads are man made.

We do have Earslwood lakes in the midlands, but that was originally a reservoir for the canal system, but whichever way you look at it, if you jump in, you'll get wet :)

Children who get the actual hepatitis B at a young age are more likely to get the chronic form. It is also transmitted in ways that are not sexual, and it is actually endemic in some parts of the world.

You also do not have to listen to anyone, but you can look up the research yourself. There is an index of medical journals from around the world located at www.pubmed.gov.

Now about the claim that "It's too bad our medical system focuses so little on prevention." That is hilarious, considering that vaccines are preventative!

So tell me, how much does it cost to give a child two MMR vaccines (the MMR has been around since 1971 and never contained thimerosal), versus treating a person with measles or mumps, or caring for a child permanently disabled by congenital rubella syndrome? Or even, how much does it cost to give a child a series of four DTaP vaccines, versus trying to deal with pertussis (which kills over a dozen American babies each year), tetanus or diphtheria (which killed a child in the UK recently)?

One of the most ludicrous vaccines given now is hepatitis B for newborns, especially when one looks at the number of children who actually get it versus the number of adverse reactions. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and I've yet to hear a good readson from any pediatrician, who are trained to only recite whatever the AAP tells them.

For the people on here who claim their unvaccinated children are healthy, I believe you. It's too bad our medical system focuses so little on prevention. Pretty soon we'll have even more vaccines and drugs to cure all of our ills. But in the end, how healthy will we actually be because of it?

Well if you can count backwards in sevens then you are probably OK. If you don't know the name of the Prime minister don't worry they seem to change more often as you get older, Ah dear Mr Douglas Home, as forgettable as Bonar Law to my grannie.

I don't know about Alzheimers, but one thing that does seem to come to us all eventually is Arthritis.
